October 30th, 2025 Ringwood’s Council meeting Blog

Hi Ringwood!

It has been an extremely busy few weeks! Our council meeting was held on 10/30/25  and started with a presentation from the Center for Food Action promoting their 28th Annual Hunger Walk.  Mayor Landis also read a proclamation for First Responders Day which was on 10/28/25.

During election cycles, there is a lot of misinformation that circulates online and within the community. The Mayor and Council asked the Borough Manager to provide an update on the police radio upgrades since many residents were being misinformed. The Borough Manager provided a very thorough timeline about the communications upgrade and also had the payments that have been made for this.  Attached is the link for the meeting.  https://ringwoodtv.viebit.com/player.php?hash=cYvbyqvePfbmFTkY

End of Meeting Comments:

We would like to take a moment to congratulate some local businesses that have expanded to Ringwood. The Borough and Council would like to welcome Supreme Automotive on Carletondale, Bricks 4 Kids located on Greenwood Lake Turnpike, Money Pancho on Skyline Lake Drive,  and we would also like to congratulate Teresa Struck from Stuck Fitness who recently announced that she will be expanding to a larger space at Fieldstone Shopping Center.  In fact, there is also another business that will be joining the Fieldstone Shopping Center- so stay tuned.

Ringwood’s 4th Annual Veterans’ Salute was on 11/3 at 6:30pm at the Community Center on Erskine Road. Thank you to all who have served and thank you to resident Janet Spirko who helped Deputy Mayor Kerr organize this fantastic event every year.  Thank you to everyone that was part of our program.

Warm Regards,
