November 25th, 2025 Ringwood’s Council meeting Blog

Hi Ringwood!

The meeting started off with a presentation from Ringwood Downtown, a 501(c)3 charity supporting economic development here in town.  They discussed their plans for Small Business Saturday and how they will be out and about greeting shoppers and business owners.

Manager’s Report:

Skyline Triangle

  • The Skyline Lakes triangle has undergone a series of improvements including a new paver walkway, landscaping, a flagpole, a sign, and memorial.

  • The frame for the new sign is in place.  We are waiting for Skyline Lakes to provide us with the artwork for the sign itself.

Grants

  • We have been awarded another grant for 2026 totaling $421,336.  The NJDOT Grant will be used for Phase 4 of Skyline Lakes Drive.

  • This phase will include milling, paving, drainage improvements, and some guide rail installation, beginning at the intersection of Skyline Lakes Drive and Oakwood Drive and extending approximately 3,000 feet to 166 Skyline Lake Drive.

  • We have also been awarded a FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant totaling $17,414.28, which will enable us to purchase 500 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms over the next two years.

  • We will conduct voluntary home evaluations throughout Ringwood to identify residences that lack proper protection.

  • Our goal is to enhance safety for residents in 500 homes over the next two years.

Shared Service

  • Our shared service agreement with Pompton Lakes has now been completed.

  •  We will be issuing them a bill for the time and services provided.

Small Business Saturday

  • We invite everyone to celebrate Small Business Saturday by supporting our local shops and restaurants.

 Council Meeting Update

  • Since the December meeting is so early, we need to have another meeting in December to close out the year.

Warm Regards,
