End of Meeting Comments:
There was a comment during the public session about using $26,000 for capital improvement to use for recreation. Recreation puts a $5 fee per registration for programs that are dedicated to capital and /or maintenance or improvement for recreational facilities and programs. Users are helping to fund the facilities programs that they are using. This is from the Recreational Trust Account not from your taxes.
Mayor Landis shared a letter from Ringwood Downtown stating that according to their public survey, the board is working on looking into getting a farmer’s market back to Ringwood at our Special Improvement district due to residents requesting its importance.
Councilman Noonan said that he attended the Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 18th at the New Weis Center. He thanked all the volunteers involved.
Councilwoman Echols said that she attended three Passaic County Open Space meetings in 2025 and 2026. She also commented that none of the meetings, some over a year ago, have had the minutes posted.
