Zoltan Kiraly

Zoltan and his wife Kim live off of Fieldstone Drive in the heart of Ringwood. They moved to Ringwood eight years ago and have enjoyed all that Ringwood has to offer!

Zoltan earned his BA in Computer Science from Messiah College, and his MBA from Excelsior College. Zoltan has worked in IT for over 30 years, specializing in Enterprise Storage Architecture and Engineering for various companies including ADP, Summit Bank, Mercedes-Benz USA; and KPMG.

Since 2022, Zoltan has served on the Ringwood Planning Board. He has participated in the monthly planning board meetings as well as the site inspections of the locations that were seeking improvements. In his first term, Zoltan has taken courses in Land Use Law and Planning as well as Stormwater training.

The Kiralys are members of Emergence church here in Ringwood, where they are both part of the Prayer team. Zoltan has served on the Setup team, and he leads a weekly small group, where he facilitates a deeper discussion about the sermon. Zoltan is also the Community Outreach Coordinator for Emergence, where he helps coordinate opportunities for church members to help the local community. Emergence has participated in past Caring for Ringwood days, family movie nights, and other ways to help Ringwood and the surrounding communities. Zoltan helped coordinate a few construction projects with Rebuilding Together NJ in Upper Ringwood. Rebuilding Together NJ’s mission is to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives.

Zoltan has a long-time passion for serving those in need. While in high school and college, Zoltan served on short term service projects in Costa Rica, South Africa, Liberia, Hungary, and Sweden. More recently, in 2019, Zoltan and his wife served on a summer team in Hungary. There, they worked with Good Sports International. This organization focuses on improving the lives of orphan children throughout Europe. Since Zoltan is fluent in Hungarian, he served as translator for his fellow team members, and as a counselor for the teens and pre-teens who attended the camp.

Zoltan is the current meeting coordinator for the Ringwood Regular Republican Club. Zoltan has coordinated various relevant presentations at the monthly meetings, including panel discussions and “get to know your candidate” Q&A sessions. Zoltan continues to seek out presentations about topics which are relevant to the residents of Ringwood.

A hobby that Zoltan has enjoyed for many years is motorsports driving. Zoltan volunteers his time as an instructor and mentor at High Performance Driving Events at various tracks of the northeast, including Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, and the tracks at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Zoltan enjoys helping people from all walks of life. Young or old, no matter what their story is, he is always there to lend a helping hand or listening ear.
